Quality
We are proud to be the only custom fashion design manufacturer on the internet that can truly say to our membership that your garment is custom cut within 24 hours of your order and printed, sewn, wrapped, packed and shipped within 100 hours of your order. And, we will sew in a label with your name on it.
Do not be fooled. Not all t-shirts are made alike. That is right, not all t-shirts are manufactured equally. But, how do you tell?
We use only the highest quality 8.2 oz, 40 TC (thread count), heavy duty 100% cotton fabric. Most of our competitors who use only 20 to 30 TC. Why is 40 better? Well, if you have ever stayed in a Five Star Hotel and wondered why the bedding feels so soft, it is because of the thread count. The higher the thread count the higher the quality and softness.
We only make high quality garments from high quality fabrics, from Iron Heavy Duty 100% cotton to MonsterTough waterproof nylon, from 24 oz Heavy Duty canvas to GoPro stretchable sportswear. We are a specialized garment manufacturer and utilize the ultimate high performance fabrics in all our products.
Our fabric printing process varies depending on fabric makeup, texture, color, and a number of other sub-straight factors. All of our printing is of the highest quality, utilizing regulated micro tension monofilament fiber screens, stretched over calibrated aluminum frames, with high modulus meshes ranging from 140 to 180.
Each fabric is evaluated and tested to determine the highest ink penetration and pigmentation coverage. Depending upon the fabric, we change the type of ink. We print each fabric with proven techniques, using high viscosity, deep penetration inks that can only be applied manually. These types of inks provide for good coverage and deep penetration even on dark natural fabrics or on the textured canvas used in many of our bags.
There are few processes that can match the true quality of screen printing and it is the reason we use screen printing rather than fast turn around processes. After several washings, our inks set up and create a strong bond between the natural woven fibers and the color pigment in our deep penetration inks.

What is dye-sublimation printing?
Twenty-four hour turn-around web sites use dye-sublimation printing. Promotional item web sites use dye-sublimation printing. We don't! Here's the explanation why:
Simply put, dye-sublimation is inkjet printing. Promotional 24 hour turn around companies use equipment very similar to your home inkjet printer, but with bulk ink cartridges.
Dye-sublimation printing uses the same CMYK colors you use in your inkjet printer at home. Most dye-sublimation companies use pixel based images to produce the final printed product, similar to printing photos on your home computer. This means, your quality and/or size of the final printed image depends on your pixel image and its quality. The quality of the final product is in direct proportion to the size and quality of your pixel image.
Additionally, you will find dye-sublimation on dark colored fabrics offers very poor quality compared to screen printing. Unlike screen printing, the inks used in dye-sublimation do not use the color white. CMYK colors are not satisfactory for printing on dark garments and were not originally manufactured to print on colored fabrics. Most images printed on dark clothing using dye-sublimation have a washed out look and lack the vibrant colors found in traditional screen printing.
ClothinGift does not use dye-sublimation.
What is heat transfer?
If a company says that it is using heat transfer printing, it normally means that they are using dye-sublimation to print the design to a sheet of special paper and then apply it to the garment using a heat press similar to that used in screen printing. The heat transfer process involves using dye-sublimation, heat transfer paper and a traditional inkjet printer.
Dye-sublimation and heat transfer have their advantages, but those advantages are not printing on dark colored fabric or natural fabrics.
ClothinGift does not use heat transfer.
